These terms govern your use of the Citeroom website and the Citeroom plugins. Citeroom is a product of Nagaland Me. By using the website or the plugins, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
The plugins
Citeroom offers two products. The free Citeroom plugin is available from the WordPress.org plugin directory and is licensed under the GPL. Citeroom Pro is a paid add-on, sold from this website, that adds further features and requires the free plugin to run.
Your Citeroom Pro licence
When you buy Citeroom Pro, you receive a licence to use it on the news websites you own or operate, within the limits of the plan you purchased. You may not resell, sublicense, or publicly redistribute the Pro code, and you may not share your licence key with others. Your licence stays active while your subscription is current.
Payments and billing
Citeroom Pro is sold through our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record and handles your payment and any applicable taxes. Prices are shown before purchase and may include tax depending on your location. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your customer account with the payment provider, and your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
Refunds
Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which offers a money back period after purchase. Please see the Refund Policy page for details.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Citeroom lawfully, not to attempt to bypass or tamper with licence checks, and not to use the products to break the law or the rights of others.
No guarantee of citations or rankings
Citeroom is built to give your journalism the structure, freshness, and identity that help it get cited by AI search and AI answers. It cannot, and does not, guarantee that any AI engine will cite you, or promise any particular ranking or traffic. No provider has confirmed a ranking signal. Citeroom never fakes signals to create a false impression.
Intellectual property
The Citeroom name, logo, this website, and the Citeroom Pro code are owned by Nagaland Me. The free Citeroom plugin is provided under the GPL. Nothing here transfers ownership of our brand or our paid code to you.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The website and the plugins are provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nagaland Me is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or the plugins. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update the website, the plugins, or these terms from time to time. If we make material changes to these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law rules.
